Daniel 2,7,8, 9 and 12 detail these events and teach us just how much we need to be dependent on Him. The students at the university where I work (Point Loma Nazarene University) just did an interesting initiative where they lived on $2 a day (like millions do around the world) for 3 days to raise awareness of poverty. They learned a lot. There was a news story last night where you can see the shanty town they built.
